Graduation Requirements

Vicksburg Catholic School students have a college-prep curriculum. Graduates complete twenty-eight (28) Carnegie units as follows:
 
English - 4 units Math - 5 units (Algebra I+4) 
Science - 4 units (Biology+3)  Theology - 4 units
American History - 1 unit Geography ½ unit
World History - 1 unit MS Studies - ½ unit
Government - ½ unit Foreign Language - 2 units
Economics -  ½ unit Health - ½ unit
Personal Finance - ½ unit Physical Education - ½ unit
ACT/SAT Test Prep - ½ unit Elective - 1 unit
Fine Art - 1 unit
Computer - 1 unit (course/proficiency
that meets MS graduation requirement
for Business/Technology)

Effective with the eighth grade class in 2017-2018, graduation requirement increases to 30 total units including an additional social studies and an elective. Students transferring to St. Aloysius after ninth grade may have non-state requirements waived and, under certain circumstances, may graduate with fewer total credits at the principal’s discretion.
