Dear Alumni and Friends,
On behalf of the administration, faculty and students, I want to thank you for the support our school has received through contributions to our annual fundraisers, memorials, and endowment gifts. Through this support, we have been able to continue providing the excellent Catholic education we are known for, and enhance our curriculum and the services we provide to our students.
Of the ways to support VCS, we are especially thankful this year for the contributions we received through the Annual Appeal. Our focus this year was for the Digital Learning Initiative, which aims to put a device in every Vicksburg Catholic School student's hands for the 2016-2017 year. Through the support of our alumni, parents and other stakeholders, including the Catholic Diocese of Jackson, our vision is becoming a reality!
There are many ways in which your generosity has helped Vicksburg Catholic School flourish. The total amount of the endowments held at the Catholic Foundation for Vicksburg Catholic School is $786,563 as of June 30th, 2015. We have 31 different trusts and endowments that have been established through the years, and the income the school receives from these endowments is used for tuition assistance, athletics, college scholarships, and overall operations of the school.
Vicksburg Catholic School continues to provide a safe, nurturing, faith-filled environment, with extreme academic rigor to prepare our students for their post-secondary education, and life beyond. We could not achieve all of this without the support of alumni and friends like you. Thank you for your prayers and support.
