THE VICKSBURG CATHOLIC SCHOOL ALUMNI CHALLENGE: Fueling the "Make an MPAAC" Campaign
Vicksburg Catholic School (VCS) is proud to launch the VCS Alumni Challenge, an initiative designed to unite generations of alumni in support of a landmark capital campaign: the construction of the Multi-Purpose Performing Arts and Athletic Complex (MPAAC). We are calling upon our esteemed graduates—spanning over a century of academic excellence and community leadership—to help us bring this transformative vision to life.
The Challenge: One Class, One Leader, $100K
The premise is simple yet ambitious: we are challenging every graduating class to raise a collective total of $100,000 this fiscal year, with all proceeds dedicated to the "Make an MPAAC" capital campaign.
To achieve this, we need one dedicated volunteer from each class to serve as the Class Ambassador. This Ambassador's mission is to reach out to every single member of their graduating year to inspire participation and secure commitments.
How It Works
1. Identify Your Class Ambassador:
We need one person from each graduating class (St. Francis Xavier, St. Aloysius, and unified VCS) to step forward and lead their peers. This individual is the key point of contact and motivator for their class.
2. The "Every Member" Effort:
The Ambassador is tasked with the vital goal of contacting everymember of their graduating class. The goal is 100% participation, ensuring every voice is heard and every person has the opportunity to contribute to their class's collective goal.
3. Reach the $100,000 Target:
The combined donations from the members of your class, regardless of individual gift size, will go toward your class's $100K target. It’s a team effort—every dollar counts toward your class goal for the MPAAC project.
Why Your Participation Matters: The MPAAC Vision
The Multi-Purpose Performing Arts and Athletic Complex will be a cornerstone of Vicksburg Catholic School, a place where faith, athletics, and the arts come together under one roof. This facility is the "ticket to the next level" for VCS, providing a modern, dedicated space for:
- Athletics: Supporting 26 different sports programs by providing upgraded facilities to match the school's longstanding commitment to physical development and competition.
- Performing Arts: Offering a dedicated venue for theater productions, musical performances, and other cultural events.
- Community Gathering: Serving as a central hub for the entire VCS family and the Vicksburg community at large.
Your contribution through the Alumni Challenge directly supports the construction of this historic facility, ensuring the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart continues to thrive for generations to come.

- To Make a Donation to Your Class's Fund: Visit the giving page and indicate your graduating year in the message section (i.e., type in "class of 1975", etc.).
